Really, you are literally forcing people to authenticate everytime they open the app then limiting to 3 logins in 24 hours? I pay you for a service and I should be able to access my account anytime I need as many times as I need. Itโ€™s ridiculous that Face ID is not enough to verify identity and that I have to 2FA every-time with a code but then to limit it to 3 logins within a 24 hour period.

You guys are absolutely becoming the worst to deal with. No wonder AT&T is stealing all your business.

Iโ€™ve never been locked out of my account for any company for successfully accessing my account more than 3 times in a 24 hour period. Thatโ€™s just ridiculous.

This is so stupid, I agree. I basically can't complete a purchase and am locked out of my own account because of this.

It's not about 2FA but rather getting a PIN.  I can login successfully, that's not the issue.

Surely you are kidding...How can a person turn off "two-factor identification" or change their password if they can't even get into their account in the first place????

I do NOT have 2-factor authentication, yet I still get the same PIN error message when I tried to sign on to my 2TB Verizon Cloud from my Samsung phone. You are just ridiculous!

I am about to leave Verizon (I have all services including wireless, TV, voice, internet, ... everything with Verizon).
And I am willing to take the hassle to move onto other service provider. Because Verizon's software and service are so horrible, that the troubles dealing with you are even much worse than the hassle to move all services to other provider !!!

YOU CAN DISABLE IT, BUT IT WONT STOP WORKING.  THAT IS THE PROBLEM. ...THE OPTION OF DISABLING DOESNT WORK ANYMORE.

Have the same issue. How frustrating cannot log into my account. What a terrible idea verizon has. Someone in Verizon needs to change this. Terrible app to log into. Makes no sense to have all the securuity and still get locked out after 3 codes.

As our goal is to always ensure that the customer and account are secure, this truly is a safety measure to ensure that if someone were to get a hold of your phone and attempt to sign in to My Verizon, they would have a limited number of attempts to do so. Was there something specific you were hoping to accomplish on the website? The hold is limited to 24 hours as we know that customers do need to gain access. -Loren

I signed up for the free 30 day internet service trial. I tried to sign into my account and was told to go to my email to retrieve a code. When I copied the code and came back to Verizon, the code box had disappeared and I had to start all over, and couldn't use the same code. Three strikes you're out for 24 hours???   If this is an omen of things to come, I think I'm ready to send back the equipment without even trying it...Try again in 24 hours and then have the same experience? This is pretty ridiculous. (Who would even WANT to access my Verizon account anyway??) Way too many levels of "security!!"

I have the same problem. This is ridiculous. There needs to be more than 3 codes in 24 hours. When linking my verizon account with another account like Ticketmaster, that's one code. Not to mention that one code from logging into Verizon in the first place. And then if i want to make changes to my account thats another code. Now you can't log in for the rest of the day?  I have a time sensitive situation and now cant access my account.

I don't know of any other company that limits 2 factor to 3 times in 24 hrs. 

If I navigate away, I have to log in again. 3 times in a few minutes is not unusual!

The number of codes should be a user setting.

This is messed up! Trying to preorder an iPhone and I can't get into my Verizon account (through Best Buy) because of the "You can only get three codes in 24 hours. Please give us a bit and try again." error. I should be able to authenticate and reset this ridiculous 3-code limit! Instead, I'm on the phone with VZW Support and going to lose my preorder cause of this. ๐Ÿ˜ก
