eSim Compatibility

I have a quick question I have been unable to find an answer for.  I am traveling to Canada and Sweden and need data while I am there. I have a Samsung Note 10+ on the Verizon network and a Google Pixel 3 not connected to any network.  Can I purchase a 3rd party eSim card from a site like Airalo to use while I travel abroad?  If not, could you point me in the right direction for using a INTL data plan to use with Verizon?  It will only be for 5-7 days for each trip.  Thanks in advance for anyone that can help!

It sounds like you have some amazing trips planned to our neighbors to the north, and also Sweden (its a bucket list spot for me). We can certainly help with those questions. You can certainly use a 3rd party SIM card with your Verizon device, as long as it is unlocked. You can learn more about our unlocking policy here: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-240301/

We also offer some plans for international travel, if you haven't already looked at them here: https://www.verizon.com/plans/international/international-travel/trip-planner-tool/

Additionally, if you often travel, our new My Plan Unlimited plans, with the TravelPass Perk might be worthwhile. TravelPass sessions are normally $10/day, but with the Perk you can get 3 sessions each month for just $10, and you can bank up to 36 TravelPass days each year to use when you travel.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
