Hello,
I tried to take advantage of the 30 day free trial to see how well Verizon works in my area. I downloaded the app, gave my person info, and then I got a message like "you are ineligible for the free trial because you have use it within the past 12 months." But I never used Verizon in my life. So there's an error somewhere, and when I called, I got passed around to about 5 different representatives (each one said "oh hold on a minute" as if they were trying to investigate, but they simply passed me to another rep and I had to explain everything all over again). No one could do anything.
I'm just curious why you don't want to fix this?

Customer service instructed me to post here for help. They said verizon support would read my inquiry and get back to me. I also tried the free trial with another phone and get an error "This phone does not support eSIM," which is incorrect, the phone does support and uses eSIM.
It seems it's not possible to take advantage of the free trial and I've not heard anything from Verizon. Please remove this account as I won't be needing it.
Thank you

This is pure speculation, but if you were previously on an MVNO who uses Verizon's network, that could be getting counted as "using Verizon" even though you were not directly a customer. Or if your phone is pre-owned, the previous owner could have been a Verizon customer.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
