called verizon last week. a cryptic option to ENABLE VOICE BIOMETRICS for future logins was mentioned in the robot. I DO NOT WANT voice biometrics (or OTHer biometrics) stored, i've been victim of four data breaches past 2 mnths.
WHERE (exact menu options, and verbage) to make sure this is TURNED OFF, in the account setting s menu?
thanks
i use my desktop, not a phone app.
i hve Fios at home, not mobile wireless

If the voice verification was only when you called Verizon and not something on your Fios equipment itself, then the biometric option is just an easy method for Verizon to verify who you are when you call them, and doesn't have anything to do with your equipment or account otherwise. I've seen the same thing with another business I use when I call them.
Biometric verification is actually the safest means of making sure your account isn't compromised, since nobody else has your fingerprints and can't speak exactly like you do.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
