4 lines on my account all in my name, how do I assign individual names to each line?

I am the account owner on our cell plan.  I have 4 lines on the account.  Each phone number is listing me as the owner of the line.  I want to assign the person who actually has the number to each number.  Can this be done?  I know it can be done in Verizon Wireless for Business.  Help!

Register each number for it's own MyVerizon account, with it's own log in and password.  You will still show as the "owner" of the account, but each number manages it's own ringback tones, media purchases, Backup Assistant, etc.   The secondary accounts will not have access to billing information or account details, only the owner/primary number has that, unless you assign the numbers manager status.

I'm not sure you can their names show up on their numbers, as there is only one "owner" on a family plan.  My name shows on all the lines on our plan...:smileyindifferent:

If u are wanting the names of each person to appear on the bill don't know if u can do it online or not . you can do it through customer care just  dial 611 and speak with a rep tell them you want to assign the name to each number at the mobile number level level, then on your next bill the name will appear under each individual number

I didn't know you could do this, but it was pretty simple. I called *611, chose option 4 (other options) then 0 to speak to an operator or representative.  I had to enter the 4 digit billing PIN or passcode, then the gal I talked to asked what name to associate with each number on the account.  Cool!

Worked exactly like you stated ... called *611 ... entered option 4 (other) ... pressed 0 to get a person.  Had to key in account password on keypad, then an assistant answered and was able to load first and last names for each of 6 mobile numbers in our family plan account.  Only took a few minutes.  Thanks

If you go to Manage Device for a given line, you'll see an option to set Nickname for the given line. That's where you can change names.
