One of my lines is eligible for the $579 trade in deal for an iPhone 12. Would it be possible to do the trade in deal with an old iPhone 6, activate the new iPhone 12, move the sim card from the new iPhone 12 into my current iPhone SE 2020, & put the iPhone 12 back into its box to save as a backup phone? Will this process somehow disqualify me from getting the $579 credits over 24 months?
