My mother-in-law passed away in July. She managed the cell phone account for herself and her husband though her name wasn’t on the account.
We have power of attorney for my father-in-law (as well as being executors for my mother-in-law’s estate).
How do we provide documents to gain access to my father-in-law’s account. He is living but unable to manage finances.
Please advise. No info available or accessible online.

Thank you, Sean.
We need to know who and how to contact the appropriate person at Verizon to gain access to the account (by providing all necessary documents). This is the *only* avenue for me to contact Verizon as I can't get assistance through chat, phone or email because *we* don’t have an account, my father in law does. (Which is required to use those methods.)
Thank you!

I'm in the same situation as Carolyn. Can you provide me with the contact information at Verizon where I can send the required paperwork to be recognized by Verizon as my Dad's POA?

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing your fathers account due to your name not being listed as an Account Manager, steveking1. We want you to have access to the account at your convenience. If your name is listed on the account as an Account Manager, you will be able to discuss the account. Your father can add your name to the account here, http://spr.ly/6604zZ6Ee. If your father cannot add your name to the account this way, we would recommend Power of attorney. We can send you an email with the details to get started. Please let us know how you would like to proceed. -Danielle

I also need the information on how to submit a POA to access my father's account. I tried calling support, but they didn't know what a POA was, said they couldn't provide me anyway to find out how to submit one and wouldn't let me talk to a manager. Verizon is making it very hard to submit a valid legal document when it isn't in your help documents and the support center refuses to help.
