Customer91, not being able to make calls to a specific number is very alarming to me. I will be more than happy to assist. Please share what happens when the number calls your line? Also, confirm for me are you able to send text messages to that specific number?

@vzw_customer_support Does technical support have the ability/tools to trace a call to see where the 'all circuits busy' is coming from? Being a former telco network engineer, we did call traces all the time to determine where calls were being blocked due to circuits being down. Granted, it was not the wireless network we were tracing but I would think similar troubleshooting techniques could be used to determine if there was a cell tower issue somewhere.

Jav6,
Thank you for messaging us here today. I know how important it is to know where the “all circuits busy” is coming from. Can you please share more information with me? What is happening with your phone? Are you experiencing this with all calls or just one particular number? What is the make and model of your phone? Is anyone around you having the same issue?

The message says "All circuits are busy. Please try your call again later. Announcement 8."
I am only experiencing issues when I call that particular number. I can receive calls from the number. Also, I am able to send text messages to and receive them from the number. I have an iPhone 6s. The other phone on my plan does not experience this issue when trying to make a call to that number.

Deed72, we certainly want you to be able to reach every person you call. Is this occurring with every call you make? Please share what happens when the number calls your line? Also, are you able to send text messages to that specific number?

It is one particular number where i receive the "all circuits busy" message. I can contact other numbers fine. I am able to receive calls from the number in question. I can also send and receive text messages from the number. Please advise....if you're even capable...

I am having the same problem. I can call other numbers but one number I can not reach. "All circuits are busy" message. I don't know when this started because I haven't called this number in awhile. I was calling Golden Valley, Minnesota. I stopped at the Verizon store, but they could not help. Thank you in advance for your help.

dianakh, we certainly always want you to be able to make a call. Are you able to call the number in question from another number and it goes through?

We have the same issue. My wife calls a certain number and gets the all circuits are busy message. I can call the same number from my phone. We both have Samsung Galaxy s10's. The issue has been ongoing for a few weeks. The person at the problem number has no issues with his phone.

When you and your wife call this number, are you both at the same location, i.e. side by side?

yes, and the location from which the call is placed does not change the call going through.

I'm eager to get this resolved, 1MadScientist. Does your wife's phone have WiFi Calling set up? Are the call settings the same on both devices?

I have a personal iPhone XR and a work iPhone 7 on Verizon. Both receive calls/texts fine, but both unable to make calls to one number without getting the "all circuits busy" message. Number I can't call has called me when I emailed them asking to call me, and they confirmed they've received calls all day. Had this happen last week and thought it was a fluke, now I'm suspect it's a Verizon error. For what it's worth both issues have been to same region where MO, IA and IL meet. It's po-dunk country all over there, but why would I not be able to call people there?

Our number one priority is to keep you connected. If this is only happening when you contact one number, then it does sound like an issue with this number. Have they checked to see if there is a block somewhere?

@vzw_customer_support , @ellisandrac_vzw VZW Tech Support/Engineering needs to check the network to see if the calls are reaching the network and what is being done with them. Maybe a dedicated/real time test with an affected customer to capture their incoming call that gets the 'all circuits busy' message will find something to resolve this issue with them and other customers?
