Customer service told me that if you switch your debit card/account number for auto pay that you AUTOMATICALLY lose your discount. Is this a new thing? I know I switched my auto pay before since I’ve been with Verizon since I was 17 and I’m 46 now..When I put in Venmo account, it never flagged me for a problem or said you are now losing your discount or I would have kept it at my regular account. So Verizon stopped my auto pay discount, declined my Venmo, and charged me $10 per line for an extra $120.
I flipped out, especially since I’m a tax accountant and work day and night. If this is true about Verizon’s new policies, I don’t have the time to deal with this anymore, I’m sorry Verizon.

Hello, ELENIH98. To quilify for the auto pay discount, you will need paper free billing and use a Debit Card, Checking or Saving account (ACH) or the Verizon Visa card.
