If you have poor Verizon cell phone (signal) coverage realize that Verizon has officially shut off 3G cellular on their cell towers. New phones only speak 4G (LTE) and 5G. The reason your signal is now bad is because with 3G service and 3G phones you could be farther away from the nearest cell tower. All of us in the suburbs and rural areas got used to this and things just "worked" ,maybe not great, but at least worked. Now with 4G as the minimum requirement you can't be as far from the cell tower as with 3G. That's why our cellular coverage is poor right now. The solution would be that Verizon Wireless should be adding more 4G LTE cell towers to account for this issue. However, Verizon Wireless will likely not invest in 4G LTE for the suburbs and rural areas to fix this poor coverge issue because it's not financially feasible for them to do so. So, Verizon will collect your money and continue giving you poor service. 5G service is really only usually available in larger cities/areas and you have to be even closer to the cell tower for 5G than for 4G.. See the trend - to get faster you must be closer to the cell tower.. You _may_ be able to get good internet service(WiFi) and just use WiFi calling (aka VoIP calling) when you're home. I'd suggest using WiFi extenders so your WiFi calling covers more sq. ft of your property... Good luck from BigDaddy_68

They also purposely keep their standard service tiers over-burdened and underperforming, that way you’ll sign up for their $[phone number removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]G mid-band. No, thanks. They don’t care enough for their customers to expand outside of their microbands for their regular customers who are already paying too much. 6 months left on my contract, and then heyo, T-Mobile!
