Please put in a new tower in our area!
Iโve experience a significant amount of dropped calls and unsent text messages in our area. The moment I disconnect from WiFi, itโs almost impossible to connect until I drive miles to a different area.
The area in question is Loughman, FL; East of I-4, south of Kissimmee, FL, north of Davenport, FL, west of the Reedy Creek Management area. Based on the coverage map posted to the Verizon website, this area has less coverage.
Iโm posting this here because I think there is significant business value to Verizon putting in a tower to better cover this area. There are multiple neighborhoods affected, and they could probably gain a lot of customers since AT&T also had poor service in this area.
Additionally, there is already a tower in this area, but it appears to only be an emergency services repeater, with plenty of space to add cell network panels below that antenna.

Hi, you mentioned that not only Verizon, but AT&T doesn't work well in your area. If T-Mobile also performs poorly, that means there's a lack of infrastructure for wireless services. As far as I know, none of the carriers own their towers any longer; they're all paying rent to use towers. So in order to get new towers built, you might have to talk with your local elected representatives and see if they can't get a bill put through for such construction.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

No construction needed just rent space & place cellular amplifiers on PLEASE. 100โs of Verizon customers barely can use phones in this area due to no service bars! Even my solar controller is not staying connected by cellular long enough to get firmware updates!

Hello bjplehn, I know this may not be the case for all, but for a handful it has worked. The Verizon Wireless Network Real Estate department is responsible for the administration of contractual agreements for cellular sites, such as leases, licenses, easements and subleases for cell towers/sites. This means that if you have a piece of land or know of someone that may be interested in leasing it to Verizon so that we can place a tower, it would work for both sides. I have heard of customers going to their city hall and petitioning for a lease for more towers. Not sure how that works, it's just what some customers have shared with me. I hope it can help you as well. Here's the link: https://www.verizon.com/support/real-estate-faqs/.
