From what I have read, this has been a major issue with Verizon for years and still no resolve. It is so frustrating when you’re paying so much for a plan and can’t use it unless you’re connected to WiFi. We experienced bad storms that knocked out power all across our area for over a week. Family of 4 all on same plan had at least 3 bars the entire time but could not access texts, calls, or internet. Could not report our outage or check on the status of our outage. Could not call or text anyone. We were forced to switch from AT&T to Verizon when we moved because there is no AT&T coverage here but since the switch we have had nothing but issues with dead spots and no data. I have tried all the “fixes” that Verizon might suggest to no avail. This is not acceptable and I pay too much for such horrible service.

Bakerladee, ensuring you have only the best in service is a must and help is here. Please tell me more about this issue. It is important that we gather details. Where exactly does this happen? I see you stated, the data only works if you are connected to Wi-Fi. Does this happen primarily while at home?
