Billing errors, no credit for trade-in & being charged for a device that I don't have

I did not get credit for a trade-in device. Verizon received the device and said they would send me an e-mail with the appraised value. They didn't send me an e-mail. Verizon didn't attach a credit to my bill. Verizon then charged me for the device on my current bill even though I do not have the device. Verizon has it. Tried calling but could not get through to an agent. tried "live chat" but after I explained the problem and they said they working to correct the problem they hung up citing "technical problems". Some service. 11 years with this company but this may be my last.
