Call cannot be completed

I get this message when trying to call a number that I know is a working number: " Welcome to Verizon wireless. Your call cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and dial again..."
I have tried rebooting, directly entering the number with and without the +1, made sure there are no co facts with that number. What else could be wdong?

When did the issue start? What recent changes have been made? Who else is experiencing this problem? Are you able to text the line? Are you able to call other numbers? Can that phone number contact you?

Started a week ago. First time trying to call the number. Happens with my wife’s phone as well. The number we are calling is a business and they can receive other calls.

I can call other numbers and receive calls that is a land line so no text
