Calling restrictions: Announcement 19

I activated call forward from my personal phone (using *72) to my business phone which has international roaming enabled before I stepped out of United states for my international trip.

All worked well until Friday, 28th June, 2024 when no calls were forwarded and the caller started hearing Call restrictions announcement 19.

Its been 4 days so far and still not resolved making my situation a nightmare to manage.

Can you please help and guide or suggest on what needs to be done?

PS: Chat agents are not really helpful. They state they have done a network reset and everything should be back to working in 2-3 hours and then its actually a negative result.

Oh goodness, we can only imagine your concern experiecing issues while out of the country. The requirements for successful call forwarding are listed below. When did you officially leave the country?

The phone number you're forwarding calls to must be:

An active voice-capable line
In the US
10 digits long (area code must always be included, even if it's a local number)
Calls can't be forwarded to an international number.

There was some kind of outage where nobody could get international service to work at all a few days ago.  Either Verizon has not yet fully resolved the issue, or it could be something simple like you need to turn off the call forwarding, and then turn it back on.  Check the Announcments forum for the thread regarding this.
