I have a Galaxy Note 8, that was payed off ages ago. According to Verizon's website devices are automatically unlocked after 60 days. Assuming this to be true, I switched carriers yesterday, but can't make calls. When I contacted the new carrier support, and gave them the IEMI, they said the device was still locked and to contact Verizon.
The Verizon online chat doesn't work as it says, โLooks like this isn't a Verizon Postpay number. For help, please contact us at 1-800-922-0204.โ But I can't make calls with the phone to contact them. I tried โSupport requestโ, but it doesn't work displaying, โLooks like something went wrong. We encountered an error while processing your request. Please wait a few minutes and try again later.โ
How do I get hold of support to unlock my phone?
