Cancelled Pre-Order - Now can't Upgrade Phone

Pre-ordered a Black Iphone Pro Max today, and noticed the phone would be delivered on 9/29/23 and the date would not be ideal for me as I'll be out of the country, but I saw the Blue Iphone Pro Max would delivery on 9/22/23 which works out. 

So I cancel my original order since it had only been 5 or so minutes since it was placed, and when I tried to re-order the Blue Iphone Pro Max, my "Upgrade Phone" option is greyed out and can no longer be selected. Im assuming this is because it's still tied to the cancelled pre-order.

Is there a way I can fix this, so I can place a new preorder? Thank you

Okay, is it coming in a form of message on the verizon dashboard or email/phone call?

Are you able to help me with this as well? I tried talking to an agent today but they were very unhelpful and didn’t understand that I wasn’t trying to get promotional credit for a different line, I was trying to also unlock the line greyed out as the original poster stated.
