I’ve been with Verizon previously so I had decided this year (2024) to return and see how things went. For the majority of the year it had been rather smooth until November where I had the misfortune of trying to purchase some perks for my plan. The representative on the chat had told me one price but upon further review the bill had an entirely different price. Alright not the end of the world , maybe that specific representative just wasn’t sure, so I’ve continued service with Verizon. The perks being cheaper than paying full price.
I had purchased , and returned a device from the shop and Verizon took 2 months to take the charge off my bill. Not to mention MULTIPLE phone calls, and chats. A few where I was hung up on and , even one where I had asked to speak to a supervisor and the representative actually just stopped responding although I could hear all the noise of the background. (I asked for a good 5 minutes “excuse me , can you please transfer me , I can hear you please transfer me “).
Then Verizon refuses to explain my bill or how it’s jumped an additional $136 in the last month and getting a solid answer is like pulling teeth. Because it seems everyone at Verizon is moving in different directions.
I used to think Verizon might’ve been worth it, the only reason I had switched was family obligation. But no longer. Come the new year I’m done with this company.
