At the Verizon store, they charged me $30 to transfer information from my old phone to my new upgraded phone. Does Verizon charge a fee for transferring data in-store? I thought this was a service they provided at no cost.
Some stores do charge a fee to set up your device, however, we have resources you can use to set up your device and save on that setup fee. We recommend using our Smart Setup using this link: https://www.verizon.com/support/smart-setup/ It'll walk you through the setup of your phone. A lot of manufacturers also include a way to transfer your data from one phone to another during the activation process. We hope this helps explain.
