Long story short since my first one didn't post. Traded in a phone that still looked brand new for a $1000 trade in credit on my new phone. I got on the account to see how much I still owe on my phone several months later (my husband takes care of the phone bill) and saw I never received any credit. Have talked to the manager at the local store, first time said a correction would be sent in. Forgot to ask how long it would take and he started telling me again that he would get it sent in even though he said he already did it. Talked to support and they couldn't find it and told me to get the submission ID from the manager. Called him back and asked for the ID and he just told me they are waiting on it to go through, 7-10 days. So I asked him again and he said they do it different there and it will be 7-10 days. I am beyond frustrated here. I feel like I'm getting duped by this guy and can't get anything showing he actually sent anything in. Who do I need to contact to get my phone credit? It's not my fault someone didn't do their job completely.

I actually already talked to somebody and they told me i am screwed. The more i think about it the more irritated i am by the entire situation. She said the store i bought your phone from for your plan is an authorized reseller for your services. The store has your name on it and they only sell your phones and services yet you can't do anything for me. If I were truly a "valued customer" that you hate to lose after 17 years you would figure out a way to fix this, you choose not to. How is this my issue to hunt down someone to fix it? I didn't do anything wrong here, I handed over my phone to be sent in but the guy didn't do his job right so the loss falls on the customer? I didn't even need a new phone but thought I would get one since there was a $1000 trade in promo. My phone definitely qualified for the highest amount considering the worker kept saying that it looked brand new still....yet I am left with nothing. I have talked to several people around our town and you wouldn't believe how many stories I have heard where this store has screwed them over. The majority of them have already switched to another provider and there are a few people waiting to see what happens with my issue to see if they will switch too. Why would they want to stay with a company that treats their customers like this??
