Hi everyone,

I'm at a loss for what to do... I upgraded my plan to unlimited data 5 days ago and lost service 20 minutes later. I have contacted support over 5x and gone into the Verizon store where I worked with an associate for >4 hours over two days to regain service.

They say my upgrade is stuck in the system and they can't even port my number to another carrier. They have a ticket open with no end in sight and I was told that my only option may be to get a new number which isn't acceptable because it's my professional number as well.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a breach of FCC rules because they are refusing to port my number to another carrier, let alone figure out the issue to restore my service. Has anyone had any luck with small claims court or filing a complaint with the FCC?

^ Another 1.5 hours spent with an agent and no resolution in case anyone is wondering. Very open to others suggestions on how to further escalate an issue. I've also filed a complaint with the FCC due to Verizon not porting my number.
