Does loyalty matter?

My account has been with VZW for 16 years. Not that that's a lot of time, but ok.
Recently been seeing bad service at my home (WFH during pandemic) even with WiFi calling and HD Voice on.
Submitted an NRB ticket, came back as "signal not optimal." Spoke to a Tech Support manager and via Twitter to understand why *their* network issue shouldn't result in a free network extender. No one seems to understand, or care.
Since all carriers now offer "switch to us" offers, is there ANY reason to stay with a carrier anymore? They obviously don't care about loyalty, just about recording new subscribers for their stockholders.

Loyalty is for family members, friends and your significant other -- not to any company. If signal is poor, you switch.
