E gift card problems

I was given two $200 e-gift cards through a rebate program. I went to use them to purchase something from the Verizon website and entered BOTH gift cards in the payment portion of the order and chose to use BOTH balances on my purchase but through an error on Verizon’s end processing the transaction, only ONE gift card was processed. So I IMMEDIATELY cancelled the order so I could re-do it. I got an order cancel notification and another saying a refund was being processed. I also called customer support/billing and was reassured by a man named Jim that the balance would go back to the e- gift card and I would still be able to use it. So today I’m trying to use both of my gift cards again, in store this time, and only one of them has the $200 balance, the other has a $0.00 balance which is ridiculous because I haven’t used it! Where is my other $200??? I’m so upset. My spouse and I just switched from T-Mobile and are slowly starting to regret our decision. Too many problems with Verizon in such a short amount of time. Who can issue us a new e-gift card with a $200 balance!??

I have the same problem. verizon says gift card number is invalid.
