EDGE payments on cancelled lines

Evening,  I have 10 lines on a MORE everything plan, 5 of which are under EDGE and 5 under traditional 2 year contracts.  I may need to port two of the phone numbers linked to EDGE agreements to another carrier.  It's a long story.  If I do, can I still make the EDGE payments for those lines monthly or are the balances due immediately?  Any one know??  Customer Care advised me that as long as I have at least one active line on the account the balances on the EDGE agreements on those terminated lines can STILL be PAID MONTHLY and would not be due in full.  She said If I cancelled ALL lines on my account then ALL of the balances would be due in full.  Thoughts?

The customer care rep was correct.  As long as you have at least one active line, your monthly Edge payments will continue as normal.  It is only after all lines become inactive that you would owe the balances immediately.

Once a port request comes through VZW's systems the balances will be payable because of the cancelled services.
