End of my rope with poor connectivity

I work in an area that has horrible signal, It's a large area near a major highway in a large city. My phone shows 2 bars of 5G, but it is nearly impossible to do anything other than make phone calls. Texts are delayed, looking things up or using an app is pointless. It has been this way since I started working here in 2008. It is not my phone, I have had several and they all do the same and everyone in my office that uses Verizon has the same issue. We only work here a few days a month, all the people that work here all week just don't use Verizon because of this. I have reported this many times over the years to Verizon and they tell me everything is fine, but it isn't. What is my next step? Why doesn't verizon care? And why does my phone say I have signal when I don't? I am about at the end of my rope with this and starting to think I just need a new phone carrier, I have been with Verizon since 98, use to work for them and install these systems.

Hello, mcyclonegt, I'm sorry to hear you are running into a service issue while at work. We certainly appreciate your 25 years of loyalty and con't want to see you go. To confirm, when at this location you are only experiencing an issue with data, correct? Are you experiencing this service issue both indoors and out? If so, how far away from your work do you have to travel before service improves?

I also have issues with missed calls and delayed text messages. It seems to be almost all of McChord field and a large portion of the northern part of Ft. Lewis. I have not found a place on base where internet works. I don't even have enough signal to load the traffic on Google maps before I get to I-5 when I leave the base using Brigeport way. Once I'm on I-5 signal is fine. How has this been an issue for so long? I have been here since 2008 and it has never improved. There are at least a dozen of us that have filed reports with Verizon, but is seems the cases get closed with no resolution.
