Exciting but unpublicized features of the LG enV touch aka VX11000

I'm luckier than most because I have not one, but two LG enV touch (vx11000) phones ot happens randomly, but oftenn my family plan. Here are some of the less well known features we have discovered over the past year.

Auto Off ... This feature turns the phone off whenever the phone decides. It unburdens the user from having to make this decision.  This feature works Even with a fully charged battery. It happens randomly and often.  You never know when this feature will activate and it stops you from getting those often interrupting calls and messages. This great feature activated itself just this evening on my son's cell phone. Even though I was waiting for his call so I could pick him up after a sports practice. The call never came, he couldn't be called, so I was spared the time and expense of driving to get him. Thank you LG & Verizon.

No Boot--- This feature prevents you from turning on your LG phone and wasting valuable Verizon resources. Push the start button as much as you want, take the battery out, do what you will.... it simply will not "turn on" Rather than those annoying calls and messages, both your screens simply flash the Verizon Logo (no kidding) on and off. The Verizon logo flashes at you as if to say " thank me for preventing the many interruptions to your busy day caused by those non LG phones.

Cool Boot--- I have discovered, that when the "No Boot" feature is active, I can sometimes override it by taking the battery out and putting the phone and battery on top of my airconditioning vent. This usually works until the Auto Off feature activates. As my AC vent is quite versatile and can be changed into a heat vent, I wonder if this feature will work. Stay tuned for the refrigerator boot feature coming soon.

NO Charge--- Plug it in to a wall outlet or a usb port, it doesn't matter which one you choose. This "smart" phone decides on it's own whether it wishes to charge it's battery or not. Perhaps it has knowledge of the power grid so it knows whether to charge or not overnite. In the long run, this will save me a small fortune in electricity costs. Thank you LG & Verizon

Mine seems to have have the Auto off feature a couple of times a week. Unfortunately mine doesn't have those other features, yet.

Hi there, obrudder!

Oh no! I'm sure these concerns are frustrating you. I would like to help further. First, let's make sure the software is up-to-date by going to 'Settings & Tools>Phone Info>SW/HW Version, the SW should be VX11KV11. Also, I want to make sure the battery and phone copper colored connections are free of debris and rust, both can cause the phone to loss power and not turn back on.

If you need any further assistance with your enV Touch, please PM me your name and mobile number.

Thank you and have a great day!
