Extend line suspension for 11-12 months (Fulbright scholarship in Mongolia for 12 months)

My daughter is in Mongolia for a Fulbright scholarship and will be working at a Mongolian university for 11-12 months.  Verizon's current suspensions will only last 90 days.  She has to have a new E-sim card while in Mongolia and obviously won't be using her current line.  She has built a network of professional connections during college and does not want to lose her phone number.  What process can we go through to request an extension of her line suspension so she can retain her phone number until she returns in approximately 11 months?

It's true.  Verizon's current suspensions will only last 90 days. After that the billing resumes, and we will continue to hold your mobile number.

Thanks David. I understand other  carriers worked with their students and would suspend for the duration of their time out of country. Verizon has an opportunity to support these students during these wonderful opportunities they have earned, especially when in countries Verizon doesn’t operate in.
