I changed my facebook password for security reasons. I logged out of all devices. When I went to log back in it asked for a verification code that would be sent to me via SMS text. Well, I never got that text. I tried to have them resend it multiple times and now I get an error that says I have requested too many codes and to try back later. I've waited and waited and still get the same thing and no code is sent to my phone. So I am locked out of my FB account. I cannot get a code anywhere else because I logged out of all devices. This text code is the only way in and I'm not receiving it. I have read other posts that says it's the carrier's (Verizon) fault. Has anybody else ran into this with Verizon? What was the solution? This is very frustrating. FB has zero customer support. There is no phone number to contact them. I've tried multiple times sending help requests to FB with zero response.

I have a follow up... I'm not sure what changed, but today I finally received the SMS code and was able to log in to Facebook successfully. I've been trying every day on both desktop and mobile (Android Galaxy S6). Still no code from my desktop attempt, but I received it after submitting a request from the mobile app.

How long did it take you finally to get a sms code ? I now have the same problem for last 3 days . My account logged out. I have received from all other text fine except the Facebook code .

Yep, same exact thing is happening to me, July 2019. Facebook says they send me text codes to verify my account, but I haven't recieved one. Yes, I do have Verizon. If you try too many times you get completely shut down by FB for 24 hours. I don't even know why Facebook locked me out, didn't break any rules, they didn't even send me an e mail to notify me. Can't get answers anywhere.
