I changed my facebook password for security reasons. I logged out of all devices. When I went to log back in it asked for a verification code that would be sent to me via SMS text. Well, I never got that text. I tried to have them resend it multiple times and now I get an error that says I have requested too many codes and to try back later. I've waited and waited and still get the same thing and no code is sent to my phone. So I am locked out of my FB account. I cannot get a code anywhere else because I logged out of all devices. This text code is the only way in and I'm not receiving it. I have read other posts that says it's the carrier's (Verizon) fault. Has anybody else ran into this with Verizon? What was the solution? This is very frustrating. FB has zero customer support. There is no phone number to contact them. I've tried multiple times sending help requests to FB with zero response.
If you haven't recently moved your number, try these tips: Contact your mobile service provider to make sure you're sending a text message (SMS) to the right number. Remove any signatures at the end of your text messages which can interfere with Facebook
getting those messages. Try sending On or Fb to 32665 (FBOOK)

We want you to be able to get into your Facebook asap! Have you come across issues with any other text messages (Ex: basic texts, picture messages, group messages)? Have you been able to receive short code messages from other companies?

On Friday 7/5/2019 I was asked by Facebook to verify my account via SMS txt message code.
Code was never received after numerous attempts over the past five days.
We want you to be able to verify your Facebook account via SMS text. Please tell us, are you able to receive other text messages (Ex: basic text messages, picture messages, group messages)? Have you been able to receive short code messages from other companies? MonicaG_VZW

I'm having the same problem all statrtroas soon as I switch to Verizon I had no issues with other carriers only with Verizon. All my Verizon numbers can't receive any text from Facebook. And yes is only with Facebook txt/SMS/MMS with other recipients and sites are perfectly OK. It's only on Verizon side. Now I'm locked out of my Facebook account. Please do something resolve this with Facebook and whitelist Facebook send and receive texting.
Well the issue as far as I could gather for nfo from several sources is that Verizon SMS service and Facebook doesn't like each other. To recover access and confirm my phone number what I did was to confirm and receive the code via phone call instead of text message. Now number is confirmed.

I have been having this problem for a month and cannot get in to Facebook. I've tried all of the suggestions and have no trouble getting texts from anyone else. In fact, I can get a response when I text 32665. I just can't get the dang code!
Same problem, No amount of resetting codes will help. Very frustrating to lose 11 years of photos, and memories. Please resolve this issue.

I have exactly the same issue described here. Unable to get SMS from Facebook. No way to change the way I'm receiving the code. Completely locked out. And I need Facebook for work, so it's affecting my livlihood as well.

Yes, I'm having the same issues not received the SMS code from Facebook via text. And it looks to be a Verizon issue. What is Verizon doing about this? I've been locked out for 3 weeks since I updated to an S10e and have tried at least once a day to get back in to my account. Very frustrating and disappointing.
As far as I can tell, I can receive messages from everyone everything else except getting the confirmation code from Facebook. It has been 3 weeks since I updated to an S10e and I've tried every day since and am completely locked out.

Hi. Has a solution been found for this problem yet? I've been experiencing the same issue and have been locked out of my Facebook account for over a week now. In the past, when I was logged out and tried to log in I would receive an SMS verification code for 2-factor authentication on Facebook, but now no text code arrives no matter how many times I submit a request. I don't know when this first started because it has been several weeks since I last logged out of Facebook, but based on the recent comments on this thread it seems to have become a common issue for at least a few weeks now. I'm still receiving other texts normally, including verification codes from other applications (for example, Twitter and my bank). I thought it might just be my device's settings blocking certain texts so I logged into my online Verizon account to check SMS messages online, but still no trace of the verification code. Facebook's advice is to check with our mobile carrier, so it sounds like they're blaming Verizon. Is there any known method to resolve this? I manage the Facebook page for my business so I'm unable to post updates or check messages there until this is fixed. Thanks
