I have full bars and data is fine..... and then the data just ceases to work completely although the 4 bar connetion to LTE remains. It is infuriating! The data will be working and then out of the blue I cannot load a web page, use the maps, load a picture, refresh any apps, etc. I am in an area that has many cell towers which makes it even more frustrating. During a period when the data was working i downloaded two (2) third party applications to test my connection. When the data is working myspeeds are over 10Mbps. However when the data is not working and the connection for LTE is full; the applications both display "error" or have downloads less than 1Mbps. This is at my work place, which is where I am 8-10 hours per day and the only option would be to change providers. This is an issue that has only recently begun, I am hoping it can be resolved quickly before I am forced to leave verizon.

I’m having this problem too, at my work I have 3 bars of LTE and can receive calls and texts but no internet connection. There’s also another place close to my house that does the same thing. I just switched from AT&T to Verizon a little over a month ago and bought an iPhone XR mainly because I didn’t want to buy an expensive phone so I could get the new iPhone early next year. They can’t tell me that it’s the area I’m in because it’s usually showing at least 3 bars of LTE. Verizon you need to get your sh*t together before I’m forced to go back to AT&T!

My Brother and I (both Verizon) have been having this issue as well for about 2 weeks.
Data On, Airplane mode OFF, 3 bars of service .... and I have (LTE|||x)
Zipcode 84533.
Please let me know what the issue is before I am forced to switch carriers. (shrug)

I had 5G 4 bars but no internet. I could text and call out. Current location zip is 46402.
I have an unlimited plan.
However I went into my settings and manually switched to LTE standard cellular service. Now I have internet.
Verizon, what is going on? It took me 2 hours to figure this out. Why don’t I have internet with 5G full bars and unlimited plan? Frustrating!

Same with me half of my 30 minute drive home I have either 3-4 bars of LTE I can make calls and send text messages but I get no data so maps or music will not work. Seriously Verizon you used to be #1 but my wife’s T-Mobil is putting you to shame.

I have the same issue, It’s infuriating to show full bars and Apple Maps can’t load anything. I’m about done putting up with overpriced under performing Verizon plans.

Jteal2345, keeping you with Verizon is a priority. We would like the opportunity to work toward a resolution on the issues with loading apps. Do you experience slow data speeds for all apps and the web? Is the problem indoors or outdoors? How are other services, such as calls and text working?

Same problem on band 5 in VA zip 23065. RSRQ -12, SINR 6 but no data. Text and voice seem fine. Been this way for several months so I have been forcing band 4 when it is available but that signal quality isn't always as good. Would appreciate a fix for this issue
