Games Automatically downloading with Verizon App Manager

I'm wondering the legalities of this activity as most of the applications that this Verizon App Manager is installing are very evasive applications, some that even have alerts from Homeland Security on their activity.

 

This app is malware.

My phone is an old carrier's unlocked phone, so I don't have this app, but have read in other threads that sadly the Verizon App Manager cannot be uninstalled, as it is one of those carrier software things permanently placed onto a Verizon phone.  The only way to get around the junk stuff being downloaded is to go to your apps and disable or force stop it.  Then uninstall whatever games, etc. you don't want.  Unfortunately, the app will turn itself back on any time new software updates come out, so you have to keep disabling it.

Verizon: Why is this app even included in carrier phones?  It sounds like adware and truly annoying.  At least one of your competitors offers their customers a choice to download such an app...

Each and every time Verizon pushes an update to my phone, it's accompanied by several Freemium games. Why are you pushing this junk on us. It was not asked for, not authorized, and not wanted. It's takes me valuable time to remove these unwanted Spyware apps.

We hate to hear you are having issues with games downloading on your device. I'm not a fan of unwanted apps on my phone either. I want to make sure we are able to assist. The downloads can be initiated from another app on your device. How long has this been happening?

So this happens probably one time a month on my phone as well.  I have a Galaxy S10+ and the games always download via the MyVerizon App.  I'm not notified until after the fact and as noted above I have to take my time and go in into my apps and uninstall each one.  This latest download, installed Ball Sort, Color Block, Shooter Bubble, and Vita Mahjong.  Even Samsung will ask permission before downloading anything or even updating applications.  Please advise best method to stop this from happening.
