Horrible Cell Service From Verizon

We have been having home power issues lately.  When our house power goes off, our cell services goes dead immediately.  I find this strange as we have been through other power outages several months back and we had full cell service and full data service.

For the past month the data service, when it works, has been slow to none.  Many times we can't even send a text.  If it makes any difference, we are in the New Orleans area.

Even with all these issues Verizon has no problem charging the regular rates to us.  When we were suffering with horrible service in this area, T-Mobile customers were just trucking along with no issues.

We thought that we could rely on Verizon but.......does anyone know what's up?  We can't continue with Verizon if this is the way it's going to be.

Our number one goal is to keep you connected. Were any changes made to your device, account, or surrounding area when this started happening? Has there been any severe weather in your area?

Hurricane Ida happened.  I still should not lose cell service when my power goes off.  Those that I known in our community that had T Mobile had no interuption.
