How do I get a tower checked?

Constantly we have very poor internet connection in our area, not just me. It's becoming an issue where I can not get any work done.
My friend just switched from a hot spot to wireless so she is using the latest and it is just as slow. We all drop calls, phones never ring, miss texts etc. I need to be able to work from home.

We want you to be able to enjoy your services. I am so sorry for the inconvenience of not having the service you need. To have the towers checked we would need to file a ticket to have our techs come out and check the area. Do the issues you are having only happen indoors? How far do you have to travel before service improves? What type of device do you have? What zipcode are you located in?

No, not necessarily just indoors, for the phone it is anywhere around the house, I have people text me if I don't answer since the phone won't actually ring. For the internet, I don't generally use it outdoors. I actually can jump on my neighbors non-Verizon and it works better for internet, which is over 100 yards away. Several people in the area have issues. The service was much better before 4G came out. My zip code is 472274 which is Seymour but I live in the Cortland area (west of Seymour).

Thanks for sharing additional details DmScrap! I did take a look at the area and can confirm that a few opportunities are present in regards to your wireless service. So that we can proceed correctly how is service once you leave your home? If you travel a few miles away does service improve? Have you ever considered utilizing a Network Extender http://vz.to/1hsLkFP to improve your indoor service and immediate surrounding home areas? Please keep us posted, thanks!

I'd like to understand how at one time I had 3 teens playing games online at the same time and now I can't even pull up webpages and all for $60 a month! and now it is suggested I purchase another device for $250 to make it work better? It use to work, and it has slowly gotten worse and worse.
I currently have a Wilson direct connection cellular/pcs amplifier +antenna, and it seemed to help at firs and now it no longer seems to matter either.

It has taken me 9 minutes to get to the place where I can type in this box, the pages are not loading! There is VERY little signal here tonight. Still no response on the above question. This is absolutely awful.. CHECK THE TOWER, fix the issues.
Tempted to cancel my service as this is costing me a fortune for something that I can hardly use.

No, by 7am it would no longer load the same pages it was earlier in the morning, also, it dropped calls all day. In fact I talked to someone in the area and they also had NO service. We could not even dial 911 if we wanted to.
At this moment, my friend is here and I'm on her ATT hotspot testing it, and it seems to work about 3X better.
I would like to find out what is wrong with our tower/service, as it use to work just fine.

My neighbor just left Verizon for the same reason. She was told that they took down or removed our tower that we hit in Brownstown, IN.. can you verify this? That would make sense as to why it use to work.

I am having the same issue with a tower and I have been thru over 20 different people to try and fix this problem. I live a mile and a half from a tower that was Verizon’s but they sold the tower to American Towers but the equipment belongs to Verizon and whatever they have done to that equipment has screwed up my service I can no longer load anything. I don’t have internet at my home which I have explained to them but my plan I was paying for allowed me to get on the internet even if I didn’t have WIFI so now I have to drive 2 miles down the road to look at my bank account and pay my bills or wait till I am at work to do anything internet related. I have been told I need a new phone a new plan and this would fix my problem so I agreed to a new plan and nothing still not fixed . I spoke with corporate about this after I sent a email to the CEO and I asked them a yes or no question which was can you tell me if a engineer has physically gotten into a vehicle and driven out to the tower to check the equipment to see if something is wrong with it and she said I cannot give you that information due to privacy laws.. they want to blame everything on me even though I have done every test imaginable on my devices and stepping outside my house to see if anything will load and to no avail it still does not work I have been with Verizon for almost 20 years and this has been a nightmare cause they continue to tell me that everything is working and closes out my tickets I explained to them that my neighbors are having the same issue and she snapped back at me and said did they open a ticket and I said I don’t know and she said we are not talking about that then cause my apples are different then theirs so then I said then how come it is my friend can come over here with his AT and T carrier and load everything on the internet and she said we will not discuss that since his carrier is different then she said my problem is trees foliage and geography related. I tried to explain to her that I haven’t had internet service at my house for over 2 years and had no issue till whatever they did to that equipment on that tower then that’s when this nightmare started ..all I asked was someone to go to the tower which means physically getting out from behind a computer to go check the tower but I can’t even have the information if they even went to the tower or not..so I am done ..no customer should ever have to go thru this and I have been dealing with this for 3 months now
