How to block a VoiceMail from coming in ?
Why do you want to block voicemail? Is it from a specific number or all voicemail?

ANSWER: At present, one marketing PERSISTENT number. I have put the number at the Verizon’s DO-NOT-CALL List.

As a customer for over 20 years, it irritates me that although I have blocked MANY numbers from getting through, I still get inundated with their pathetic spam/scam attempts in my voicemail inbox. When I block a number, I should get absolutely no messages at any time from that point on from said numbers. This is a failure on your part as a company to protect me...less spam/scam equals less people getting spammed/scammed. Having to filter through the junk to get to legitimate voicemails is time consuming and wasteful. In the age of phone numbers being falsified so you're less likely to ignore the calls, this should be a priority of yours to remedy this for the sake of your customers...or is it more financially lucrative for you to take money from the spammers for our numbers so we can get double scammed, first by you, then by them. As a side note, I don't block any number just for the sake of it. I send the unknown numbers to voicemail and check it when I have time to determine if it's junk before deleting and blocking the number.
We understand the nuisance that Spam Call pose everyday to people. As previously mentioned Verizon Block Call and Messages would be the most appropriate solution for this situation. We appreciate the feedback you have and are constantly working to improve the overall customer experience. Thank you.

Simply add a block for numbers from being able to go to my Voicemail..
I'm tired of Tempting SPAM and Voice-mail from Blocked numbers!

The question which you did not answer was how do we keep the blocked number from leaving a voice mail??
I guess will have to wait for the traced act to start in June than Verizon may do something but as before they are not concerned at all
beansjddd, we apologize for not answering the question. When you block phone numbers through your My Verizon account, the numbers you block will not be able to leave you a voicemail.
