This is my last straw. I’ve been a loyal Verizon customer for years, have paid my bill on time. Ever since April 2023 it’s been a nightmare, layered with incompetencies and complete disregard. My husband ported his number in from T-Mobile and for weeks he had no service, several trips to Verizon stores, several phone calls and chats to fix. Verizon tried to rectify the situation by sending him a new phone, we sent it back a week later. Fast forward to a month later after we returned the phone (we confirmed it was received by Verizon), they began charging us for the phone, the phone we were never supposed to be charged for, the phone we did not even have anymore. When I reached out to customer service “Zoey” told me “that’s the return process” and that “I needed to be patient.” Mind you, we were promised to be refunded the activation fees for that phone to our original payment method, and we never received that either. My husband and I are switching to T-Mobile, he was with T-Mobile for years, never dealt with this kind of treatment, never had an issue with service. Verizon, you should be ashamed. I filed a complaint with the BBB in regards to the charges, and we will never be back to Verizon again.
