I am looking for a new antenna for my helicopter so I can get 4G LTE speeds in the cockpit computer. My current antenna is 3G capable only, since it was recently damaged, I figured it's time to upgrade. I am thinking about getting this Antenna Item # TRAB7463, Phantom Antennas On Laird Technologies but I would like to know if it will work for 4GLTE before I buy it. If that one won't work, will this one? http://www.mobilemark.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=1211&catid=647 Thank you for the advice.

The Verizon Wireless network uses the 700 MHz Block C (band 13) and AWS 1700 MHz (band 4) for the 4G LTE data network. You will probably have to check with the FCC website exactly what the frequency range is for each of those bands.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

maskedplant We would love to help find the answers to your questions about the antenna. We are not showing any information related to the antennas and if they are compatible with our 4g service. Did you purchase your current antenna from VZW?

No. None of this is purchased through Verizon. As far as I know Verizon doesn't offer what I am looking for. The modem I have to use is a Sierra Wireless.

Thank you this is what I was looking for. What I found (with some guess work) is that 700 MHz Block C (band 13) is roughly 746 to 788 and AWS 1700 MHz (band 4) is 1710 to 1755 uplink and 2110 to 2155 downlink
