I am getting a phone through work that has a number already but I want to keep my number that I have had for over 10 years.  What can be done so this can happen?

you need to move number from account to another then keep the one you want to keep and disconnect other but if there is any payment plan or contract that need to be sorted out. keep in mind if you move your number in company account and when you leave company it might not be easy for you to keep it.

if your company has sales person assigned then that person need to handle your  request.

its complicated for sure but can be achieved for sure.

CLBS12,

Making sure you can keep your number is important. I would be lost if I had to get a new phone number. Let’s chat about this. The phone number that you currently have with us, is that on a personal account? If so, you can do what is called a Transfer of Service to the company account & keep your same number. Please see this link http://vz.to/2hV9cVu for more information.
