Lost Phone. Purchased a new one the next day. Needed to keep the same number. How do I suspend or disconnect my lost phone without effecting my current phone? I have not been able to speak or email a real person.
If you kept your old number, the other phone is DOA.
You will need to report your phone lost/stolen to Verizon Wireless so the ESN can be put on the negative list. Once a device is placed on the negative list, it will not be able to be activated until the original owner reports it found. Hope this helps!
Two options, from the new blackberry, dial *228 opt 1 and enter your number. It will deactivate your old phone and activate the new one. Or you can do it from your online account...I'm just not sure where it is anymore since the sites been redesigned!
