I'm really not sure what you expected verizon to do? They aren't car experts and since they proved your bluetooth did work to me it seems the issue is with your car not the phone. While they probably could have responded a bit "nicer" perhaps what they said was completely accurate they don't have to go to your car and attempt to connect your phone to your car they proved bluetooth worked the rest was on you that alone proved your bluetooth on your phone isn't broken.
