Messaging to vtext after hours not working

As of the end of Q1 2024, Verizon has chosen to turn off vtext.com which holds messages to that afdrrsd between the hours of 10pm CT and 7pm CT. At the end of that window, verizon delivers all held text messages at once. Their explanation it was due to spam filtering during those hours. This is a complete DISSERVICE to the community and those of us that rely on after hours text messaging for our jobs. If Verizon wants to help, they need to allow the customer an option to turn these off and also provide text blocking. They should not be holding ANY of my communications at any time without my consent. I have spent dozens of hours over the past few months troubleshooting as they blame the issue on my device. After learning of the spam filter explanation, I asked for it to be turned back on and was promised a fix and a follow up call. Upon the follow up call I learned the "engineers" proceeded to close the ticket, posting in the case an irrelevant resolution saying the network and delivery time was operating in normal range (aka delivery within minutes). This has been a ridiculous amount of work to get a phone provider to provide the service they are paid for. If anyone has discovered a workaround or the right words to convince Verizon to turn it back on. Please post.

Vtext/VZpix are not a Verizon product, and we do not support it. With the rise of more SMS spam/fraud texts, Vtext sent messages are increasingly being blocked by filtering systems. As a result, messages sent by Vtext are increasingly unreliable, with messages sent via it being blocked by those systems. If you have been using VText to support a business or government operation, then I highly recommend switching to Enterprise Messaging.
Enterprise Messaging is a Verizon Business Group product, designed for sending SMS messages in bulk to Verizon or on-Verizon phones. You can learn more about Enterprise Messaging here: https://ess.emag.vzw.com/emag/login

That is inaccurate. I DO receive these messages to vtext.com during the day. Verizon holds them after hours and delivers them after 7am the next morning.

@john with Verizon. I am an individual consumer so I would not likely subscribe to Enterprise level service. My company is not a Verizon customer and should not be required to in order to send me email to text messages. Please clarify how vtext has worked all these years if it is not a Verizon service. Who's service is it and who supports it?

Vtext is no longer a Verizon product? Whose product is it? It used to be a verizon product.
I am running an important test and need to be able to send an alert to my operators. The test will only last for a couple of weeks, and more likely than not, we will not actually need to send any text messages, we just need to be able to alert our operators if something does go wrong. We have folks with TMobile, AT&T, Mint, and Sprint. Email to SMS gets to them in less than 30 seconds. The operators with Verizon get theirs at 7AM the next day. This feels an awful lot like an intentional delay, so that Verizon can charge for a service that was previously free.
