Network extender - missing "Edit" link to change Access Type

Summary: I cannot change my extender Access Type to Hybrid  or Closed .  The "Edit" link is missing in the device's management page.

Details:
Installed network extender, brand new from Verizon. It registered and I tested it with #48.
I would like to change to Closed access and add  / register only my phones.

The "Edit" link that should be next to the Access Type is not there / missing.
My device's info populates and my extender is set to "Open Access".

I can only change the name of the extender.

See picture of my device (top screenshot).

Picture at the bottom is a reddit users screenshot.

Verizon tech support is not helpful.

Any help from the community is appreciated.

We're sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you. The option to change the access type has been removed and it defaults to open.

Hello, do you mean it is no longer a supported function? Thank you.

My problem is just the opposite.  I've reset the extender, and it says it has access to satellites, etc.  But when I go to the Verizon website to change settings for it, I cannot.  It is set as 'closed access'.  I cannot set it to hybrid or open, and I cannot add my own phone number!

What is the problem?

Here is another thread in the Community Forum where the issue is addressed.  It is a problem at the Verizon end.  Given the dates, they have had well over a month to fix this.  Verizon,  what's up?
