Network extender

I have used a network extender for 5 yrs in two separate homes with NO issues. Recently upgraded my phone to the S23 on August 6th and since day 1 will not connect.  . My husband upgraded to the S22 last year and connected with no issues from day one. When I went in to the store on Aug 6th to upgrade the sales girl talked me into trying the verizon internet, ok no problem-it will save me $ (currently have spectrum internet with no problems). I connected the Verizon internet up no issues with my TV or cell phone but when I tried connecting the Verizon internet to my work computer and I couldn't get it connected because I couldn't figure out what password to use I tried reconnecting to the spectrum and messed my work computers up ( I actually disconnected my employers internet connection and had to take it back to work so they could reconnect me at the office ). Anyways ever since I messed with Verizon internet is when my husband started having issues with his phone connecting to the extender. Verizon has sent me 2 new ones, doesn't work.  The extender are powered on and are active. I have been on the phone for hrs and hrs daily with numerous customer service and tech support and no one can figure it out. The extenders are placed in the same spot ( my original one sat for years with no issues). And now my husband's with connect ( sporadically) but mine will not. Plus he tells me that when I leave the house his will connect but it doesn't stay connected.  Mine will not connect at all. Does NOT make sense. I will be switching to AT &T firstnet (for first responders) when the NFL ticket that we are signed up for through Verizon expires after football season. I have been with Verizon since 2000 with NO issues up till now. I don't have time in my life to deal with Verizon support hrs on end to fix something that I should not be having an issue with ( All of a sudden ). The funny thing is is that when I check my address to see if Verizon internet works at my address the Verizon site says no and I td the sales girl that when she sold it to me but she td me her manager checked and my address did support Verizon internet now my extender is messed up...HMMM!

Hello, Chakita, thank you for reaching out regarding your home services. To makes sure we're on the same page, is your wireless Internet working without an issue? As far as the Network Extender, the device itself is working, correct? The issue that you are running into is your phone does not connect to the device?

Correct. My husband's will connect to it every once in a while but mine will not. It's like there is something not set up correctly with my phone. ( invisible wall ) that is blocking the connection.  It's really aggravating.

Will the 4g lte network extender work with 5g phones? I left the house for a bit -my husband's phone connected to the extender.  Then he left for a bit the other day and mine connected to the extender but they will not connect to the extender at the same time. Any thoughts?

How many devices are connected to your extender?  What access mode is it set to, Open, Hybrid or Closed?
