New Phone showing "not registered on the network"

I just got a new Samsung Z Fold 6.  I activated the phone and have been using it for the last few days.  This morning I had a notification that my phone was not registered on the network.  I could not place or receive phone calls, but I was receiving texts over wi-fi.  I eventually restarted my phone and it seems to be registered again.   This is my first experience with an eSIM card and with a Samsung phone.   Is this a known problem with either of those?  Or is this a network issue?  $2,000 is a lot of money to pay for a phone that will randomly become unregistered.
