I live on Bagley Ave and Venice Blvd. Every time I enter my apartment, I lose 4G and connect to 3G. When I leave my apartment I don't connect to 4G until I'm miles away.
Are you connecting to a network extender or is the building materials causing the signal to be so weak the 4G LTE network can't penetrate?

I can only assume after a year at this apartment, it's likely the building materials that cause the weak 4G signal. However, it's frustrating that the 4G signal does not return when I leave my apartment building until I'm several blocks away. Sometimes I would also switch the Airplane Mode on/off too so the phone can drop the 3G signal and connect to the 4G signal.
