During the recent hurricane, we discovered we had no cell service in our home. Problem with the existing solution is that it assumes there is internet in the house. When the hurricane hit, the power went out... no internet! No emergency alerts, not able to notify loved ones that we were safe.
Verizon has to have a solution other than the "connect to the internet and forward your calls to Google number"
