I no longer have a default system recording that plays as my voicemail recording. It is silence instead before it starts recording a message. In my voicemail settings both in the Phone app and by dialing *86, the only option is to record a custom greeting. “Default” is greyed out in the Phone app. I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro Max and have had Verizon service for over a decade without having this problem before.
That is indeed a strange issue, jipthomas. I know I use the default greeting myself with my voicemail service. We definitely want to help figure out what is happening here and get your default voicemail intro back working. Please be on the lookout for a private note from us for help.
