My name is Tyler, zip code 53147. I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over 10 years and have been mostly happy with my service. Back in the “haydays”, you more than outperformed the competition and had a vastly successful and strong network! What happened?
5 weeks ago I updated my phone, Droid Maxx, and lost all use ability. My phone would drop many calls, not be able to make calls, no internet service, no ability to send photo texts, all rendering my phone useless. I am a business owner and having the inability to receive and make calls has been nothing short of unacceptable. This has not gotten any better over the weeks.
I refused to call tech or go into a store, as I am extremely busy and from experience with Verizon, had no interest in hearing the usual, “what kind of phone do you have? Is it up to date? Oh, the issue is from your phone not our network.”
About 4 weeks ago, I had a need to acquire a 5G phone through our business provider, Spectrum, who uses the Verizon network. I thought this would be a great chance to do an experiment and get a new 5G phone for the Verizon network. I received my new iPhone 12 Pro 5G and was excited to finally have a useable phone again. I was wrong. In the same spots as my 4G phone, it can get worse reception and sometimes better reception. Still unacceptable.
I have used both phones in other areas with the same result. Even in my recent trip to Chicago, both phones were useless and had no service.
I had family members fly into town for the 4th of July weekend, all Verizon customers, all having no service, dropped calls, and no internet.
I have been patient in waiting for Verizon techs to solve these service issues on their own and this has not happened. What is the permanent solution to your network issues? I would prefer to remain a Verizon customer, but at the end of the day, I feel it is unnecessary to pay for phones and service on a network that does not work.
i am willing to bear with you to an extent and don’t wish to create bad reviews and rant and rave. But when will this be fixed?
