Have had multiple power outages in my town (76247) where cell phone service was completely lost. On the most recent occurrence, when power returned there was still no service. Both my Android and iPhones showed nothing (except SOS on the iPhone.). Restarting the phones was of no help. Driving over to the next town near their cell tower restored service while in that area. Is there no backup power to cell towers, especially if there is only one serving a small town?
