No voice with network extender

I recently purchased a network extender from Verizon. Everything works except the person on the other line cannot hear me. Everything is connected. This has happened with multiple phones. I went through four hours of troubleshooting with verizon and was sent a new extender (they determined mine was defective). The new extender is doing the same thing. I have Frontier fiber for internet. The staff at Frontier also was not helpful.  I have read other forums where people have had the same problem but no answer.  Also, my neighbor has the same exact internet, cell service and extender, and her's works perfectly.  Any advice?

I had the same problem.

Here is what they had me do:

1. Go to Settings> Cellular> Cellular Data Options> Voice & Data> Change to LTE

2. Contact Verizon and tell them about the issue. They will modify the extender software, remove it from your account, add it back and then you restart your mobile device.

If these steps don't work, they will send out a new extender.  Make sure it's version 2.
