Not receiving SMS short code

Hello, I recently switched to Verizon from AT&T. I ported in my number and now I am not receiving SMS short code texts such as verification texts from Uber or Google. I have an iPhone 11 and I tried resetting it and resetting network settings and everything else I could think of.
I can send texts without iMessage and make calls and use data without wifi. Thanks

Hello, yes I am receiving texts from non iPhones. The nearest cross street is Windhaven Pkwy & Hudson Blvd in The Colony, TX.
